A Safe and Confidential Space for Growth and Clarity
I offer a voluntary online mentoring service for those who are looking for encouragement, guidance, and a safe space to talk about life and faith. Drawing on my background as a practical theologian and mentor within the Pentecostal tradition, I walk alongside people who want to grow in clarity, purpose, and confidence in their spiritual journey.
Our conversations are simple and personal: we take time to get to know one another, explore the questions and challenges you are facing, and reflect together on what Scripture and faith have to say. Each session is shaped by listening, confidentiality, thoughtful dialogue, and prayer. My role is not to provide therapy but to create a supportive environment where you can reflect, discover fresh perspectives, and find strength to take your next steps with hope.
The process of mentoring often unfolds in three phases. The first is exploring: creating space for open sharing and guided reflection, where a person can express what is on their heart and how they perceive their situation. The second is thinking: encouraging reflection from fresh perspectives, considering possibilities, and identifying potential ways forward. The third is doing: supporting the individual in choosing meaningful next steps or shaping a simple plan for moving ahead with confidence. My role as a mentor is not to provide solutions or decide what is right, but to listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, encourage growth, and walk alongside as a companion in faith and life.
Key Pillars of Mentorship
1. Image of God
Every person is created in the image of God and therefore has inherent worth and dignity: “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” (Genesis 1:27)
2. Calling and Potential
God has created people to live with purpose and calling, empowering them and providing them with opportunities to do good and to contribute meaningfully to life and community: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” (Ephesians 2:10)
3. Freedom and Responsibility
Mentoring respects freedom of conscience and supports wise discernment, recognizing each person’s accountability before God: “Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.” (Romans 14:5)
4. Trust and Integrity
Safe and honest relationships are built on confidentiality, integrity, and mutual respect: “What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)
5. Growth and Encouragement
The goal is to nurture maturity and inspire hope, equipping people to grow in their full potential, faith and resilience: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
Arrange a Meeting

I will normally reply within one day to let you know whether I am able to assist (some matters may be beyond my competence) and, if appropriate, propose a time for the session.
