Whole spectrum of emotions

"But we have to understand that happiness is not an emotion. It's a way of living and we are entitled to feel sadness every now and then, but just because we feel sadness doesn't mean we're not living a happy life. We'll never succeed in the pursuit of life and happiness if we think living a happy life is incompatible with negative emotions. Being happy means experiencing the whole spectrum of emotions so when we feel sadness, we are reminded of how happiness feels like."
